*Our Open House will be directly behind the main arch at Rowes Wharf. ENTER AT GATE A. Directly across from the Boston Harbor Hotel. T or walking: Rowes Wharf is located on Atlantic Ave between South Station (red line) and the Aquarium (blue line). Enter at the Arch and turn left while facing the water and rotunda. Enter the marina at the next opening to the water. Walk through a metal gate, down the ramp and turn left to walk out to the boats (keeping the water to your right). The gate is across from "Marina Office". There is some on street parking weeknights and weekends in the financial district (High St/India St/Broad St area) but you must feed the meters and obey the time limits on the meters (except Sunday). Some commercials spaces can be used on Saturday, some cannot. Be careful. Sundays are free-for-alls and may be harder to find an on street space but if you find one it's likely to be free all day. BEST PRICE PARKING: There is $8 all day parking available 7 days per week in the Fort Point Channel Area all along Northern Ave (across the Moakley Bridge via Seaport Ave) near the new Federal Court House and Big Apple Circus. You can walk back to Rowes Wharf by crossing the wooden foot bridge. At the very end of the bridge you can turn right through a gate and walk along the water's edge to Rowes Wharf. Walking time 10-15 minutes. If the bridge is closed temporarily, you can walk across Seaport Ave one block South over the Moakley Bridge. Some of these lots charge extra if you stay overnight so check ahead for weekend trips. RECOMMENDED FOR WEEKENDS AND OPEN HOUSE: If you want to park downtown, closest lots are at Rowes Wharf and Aquarium (Harbor Garage) on Atlantic Ave. Both are expensive. You may park in the garage under International Place after 4:30 on weekdays and all day on weekend. This is the closest lot and is directly across Atlantic Avenue from Rowes Wharf. Enter from Purchase Street. Also the Langham Hotel (formerly the Meridien Hotel) or Post Office Square lots for $7 on weekends and evenings. These are on Oliver St. and Congress St. Walk back up Franklin to Broad and turn right on Broad. Click for an Interactive Yahoo Map Interactive Yahoo Map; the red star is at Rowes Wharf. Driving directions to downtown area: follow signs from 93 or Pike to downtown Boston (South Station or Government Center). Be wary of the BIG DIG. You are looking for High Street/Broad St/India St area off of Atlantic. You can reach the Northern Avenue lots directly from the Masspike by taking exit 23. Direction South Boston. |
